How to install skype on any linux distro

How to Install Skype on Any Computer

Step 1. Download the Skype tar bz2 file

 http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-beta-dynamic

 Step 2. Unpack the tarball

You can use the command or file-roller

If you are using command using the following command

# tar vxf skype-4.2.0.13.tar.bz2

Step 3. Moving your package file to /usr/share
# mv skype-4.2.0.13 /usr/share
Step 4. Move Your Desktop file

 Step 5. done
